To serve as an EU Authorised Representative (AR), a company must be fully established in the EU, with a physical address- not a P/O box.
The AR must ensure that their details are on your products (or accompanying documents), verify that the technical file has been drawn up, keep your documents on file for 10 years and provide them to the market surveillance authorities (MSA) when reqeusted to do so, act as a point of contact to the MSA, sign your Declarations of Conformity (where applicable). Please Note: All products that fall outside of the General Product Safety Regulations needed an AR prior to these changes.
For more information see our 'AR Services' page or get in touch.
